CGSR 50/50 RAFFLE ANNOUNCEMENT
### Giving Back to the League That Brings Us Together!
Over the past several months, we’ve had a number of CGSR members ask how they could make donations to help support the league. First and foremost, we want everyone to know how much we genuinely appreciate those thoughtful offers.
**From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a fun, fair, competitive, and completely FREE racing league. That philosophy has not changed, and it never will.**
We don’t want our members to feel obligated to make donations, pay membership fees, or contribute financially in any way to enjoy everything CGSR has to offer.
As many of you know, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to make CGSR an even better experience for everyone.
We’ve introduced live race broadcasting, our new CGSR website, the CGSR mobile app, an audio version of our official rulebook, and other improvements.
And believe us, **we’ve got some exciting things in the works that nobody knows about yet!**
For now, we’re keeping those plans under our hats until we feel the time is right to share them with the league. We think you’ll be excited about what’s coming!
Of course, some of these improvements come with operating expenses. While we’ve always tried to do as much as possible at little or no cost, we thought it might be fun to try something different.
##
Introducing the CGSR 50/50 Raffle!
We’re planning a 50/50 raffle to help support the league while giving one lucky member a chance to take home some cash!
**Here’s how it will work:**
– **Ticket Price:** $5.00 per ticket.
– **Maximum Purchase:** 10 tickets per member ($50 maximum).
– **Eligibility:** Current CGSR league members only. No outside ticket sales.
– **Administrators:** CGSR administrators are not eligible to purchase tickets or participate in the drawing.
– **Ticket Sales Begin:** October 29, 2026.
– **Ticket Sales End:** Thursday, November 19, 2026, at **7:00 PM EST — SHARP!**
– **Drawing:** Following our ARCA Mid-Season Championship Race on Thursday, November 19, 2026.
– **Location:** The drawing will take place live on Discord using our CGSR prize wheel.
– **Attendance:** You do NOT need to be present to win!
**50% of the total ticket sales will go to one lucky winner, and the remaining 50% will help support CGSR operating expenses.**
Each ticket purchased represents one entry into the drawing. Members purchasing multiple tickets will receive the corresponding number of chances to win.
##
Introducing Our League Treasurer
We’re pleased to announce that **Shelly B (Shelly Babinchak)** has been appointed CGSR League Treasurer!
Shelly will be responsible for receiving and managing raffle funds and handling the financial side of this event.
**All ticket purchases will be handled directly through Shelly.**
##
Participation Is Completely Voluntary!
We cannot emphasize this enough.
**YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE A TICKET!**
Whether you purchase 10 tickets, one ticket, or absolutely none, you will always be treated exactly the same at CGSR.
Purchasing tickets will not influence race control decisions, penalties, membership status, or anything else involving the league.
Nobody will be pressured to participate, and nobody will be questioned about choosing not to.
This is simply an opportunity for those who have expressed an interest in supporting CGSR to participate in something fun, with a chance to win a little something in return.
## THANK YOU, CGSR MEMBERS!
Whether you participate in the raffle or not, we sincerely appreciate every one of you.
**Your participation, sportsmanship, friendship, and dedication are what make this league special — not your money.**
We’re proud of what we’ve built together, and we’re excited about what lies ahead.
